My Toppers

I've been really sic for the past 3 days. A co-worker sneezed, now I have the flu, which contains a fever, soar throat, runny nose, ugly cough and no appetite. With all that I just wanted to do a quick post of some photos my customers have sent me of my toppers from their event.

Reality only hits me ever so often. My shop makes a good amount of change, but I need to make sure I get a reliable check. So, I'm apply for part time jobs. Anything in the baking, cake decorating, cupcake extraordinaire area is preferred, but not limited to everything else. My set career goal when growing up was a professional Photographer. I took & sometimes still take photos. I use to do artistic photography and such, but the love for it just faded away one day. That's when I began to cook and bake more. That was like 4ish years ago. Now my dream is to open up a small pleasant size bakery and make fresh bread every morning and have a plethora of sweets and yummies.

Help a sista out and spread the word, heck go buy some too.

Lately

I haven't blogged in a while, because I've been so blah. I've been hooked on Law & Order this whole week. Keinrick put "Hulu" on the PS3 and I can't stop watching. Sad that Christopher Meloni is no longer on the show. Not sure how I feel about the new season. 

This week I'll be going around and applying for jobs, I need to find a good job that pays awesome. My shop is doing well, but just encase there is a drought, I need to make sure I'm covered.

So, help a sista out and go buy some great cupcake & cake toppers.

Happy Birthday Babooshka

20 years ago today my sister was born. As my mothers says she was born "dead" (not breathing). God had her and gave us her back. I've been at every birthday, every celebration, I know every scare, and every tear. It so hard for me to be away from her for the first time ever for her birthday. She such a remarkable young lady and I'm so proud of her. I sent her some cupcake toppers inspired by her starting culinary school for a birthday gift.

To Jalesa, my little babooshka.... I love you with all my heart and your a true friend and even better sister. Make your next 20 to die for.

In honor of the holidays my Shop is having a sale NOW til Christmas.

Lazy bed bum!

 All day today I worked on these toppers to upload to my shop. Standing for 12 hours in the same place is exhausting, but gotta get the job done to make some denero. So, go buy them, they are great gifts for friends and family. Besides it evens itself out with me being a lazy bed bum the past 2 days.

 

 I took a break to cook dinner, t-bone steak, potatoes, rice, & broccoli. Sucky part is that I could only eat the t-bone, due to the diet. But it still was a magnificent feast for the Becker's. Afterward we roasted marshmallows in the basement over a candle, because its 40 degrees outside and apparently it might snow this week. We made s'mores with our candle roasted marshmallows and again I couldn't eat it! Graysen loved the roasting, but just ate the chocolate. Jealous.

 

Yesterday...

Spent yesterday laid in bed organizing my internet life. There are still some minor sites and emails I need to delete, but for now you can find me on:
